Mary Ann Beitzel, age 77, of 3632 Glenwood St., Two Rivers, died Tuesday morning, November 1, 1994, at the Two Rivers Community Hospital.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, November 3, 1994, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Rev. Paul Schumacher will be officiating with entombment at Calvary Chapel Mausoleum.
She was born June 10, 1917, in Two Rivers, daughter of the late William and Mamie Bartleme Schultz. She attended St. Luke's Parochial School and Washington High School, graduating in 1935. On May 29, 1943, she was married to Robert Beitzel at Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, Texas. She had been employed as a legal secretary for the late Attorney Bert Larkin. She was later employed at the Infants Appearel. Prior to her retirement, she was a bookkeeper for the Cool City Cleaners for 30 years. She was a charter member of Holy Redeemer and actively involved in church work. The couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1993.
Survivors include her husband Robert; one son, Lee Beitzel, Milwaukee; one daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Dick Johnsen, Sheboygan; one sister, Betty Bauknecht, Two Rivers; one sister-in-law, Mary Schultz, Two Rivers; four grandchildren, Jeremiah and Jessie Beitzel, Mark and Lianne Johnsen, a special friend, Debra Kutchera. She was preceded in death by four brothers and sisters-in-law, Zeno and Zella, Fritz and Olive, Francis and Mary and Joseph Schultz.
Friends may call at Holy Redeemer Church after 4 p.m. on Thursday until the time of services. There will be no visitation at the Deja and Martin Funeral Chapels.
Memorials may be made to Holy Redeemer Church or Two Rivers Community Hospital Intensive Care Unit.
The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to the medical staff at the Two Rivers Community Hospital for their excellent care and support.
