"Joseph Bohman, 81, of 2111 Madison St., Manitowoc, died Thursday morning, Feb. 10, at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.

"Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Harold Berryman will officiate and entombment will be in Calvary Mausoleum, Manitowoc.

"Mr. Bohman was born Feb. 24, 1901, at Marshfield, Wis., son of the late Joseph and Mary Kauffman Bohman. He moved to Manitowoc as a young man where he married the former Louise Dembski Aug. 6, 1942, at St. Mary Catholic Church.

"Prior to his retirement he owned and operated several taverns in Manitowoc. He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the United States Army. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Otto-Oas Post 659.

"Survivors include his wife, Louise; two brothers, William and Anton of Marshfield; two sisters, Rose Nieman of Marshfield and Frances Schriendl of Milwaukee and nieces and nephews. Two brothers and a sister preceded him in death."
