Mrs. Alice L. Bonin, 77, of 1121 S. 23rd Street, Manitowoc, died Tuesday, June 19, 1990, at Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Friday at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Manitowoc.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Roman Zbieranski OFM with entombment in Calvary Mausoleum, Manitowoc.

She was born March 27, 1913, in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Kiliansky Strzyzewski.

She was educated in the Manitowoc Public School System and graduated from Lincoln High School with the Class of 1930.

Alice’s life was in making other people happy, either by her unforgettable cooking and baking skills or her caring ways.

She was married to George F. Bonin on January 10, 1935, at Manitowoc, Wisconsin. He preceded her in death on January 8, 1988.

Mrs. Bonin was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Survivors include five children, Robert Bonin, John (Miriam) Bonin, Nancy (David) Bennett, Mary (Tom) Engleman, all of Manitowoc, and Jeani Slager of Milwaukee; six grandchildren, a great grandson; a sister, Vi (Cyril) Miller, two brothers, Leonard (Helen) Strzyewski and Richard (Geraldine) Strzyewski, all of Manitowoc; also other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by a brother, George Strzyzewski.

Friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m.
A prayer service will be held Thursday evening at 7 p.m.
