Oscar Ahlstrom, 62, general contractor here for many years, died June 14, 1947 after an illness of 18 months with heart trouble.
He is survived by his wife, the former Anna Johnson of Bertrand, Nebraska, to whom he was married July 18, 1916; and three children: Leland, Lillian and Wilma Ahlstrom, all of Wenona. There are two brothers: Amel of Magnolia and Ernest of Lacon.
He was born October 12, 1884 near Henry in Marshall County, a son of Leonard and Clara (Jacobson) Ahlstrom.
