She was born May 26, 1934 in Peru (Plattsburg)New York, the daughter of the late Edna Irwin Wright, and the late John Sloan.
Mrs. Eastman had been a long time resident of the Groton area. On August 10, 1950 she married George Eastman who survives her.
Also surviving are two daughters Laurie Eastman, Lesa Eastman, both of Groton; two sons Bryan Eastman (Janet) of Lansing, Wayne Eastman (Katherine) of Blodgett Mills, four grandchildren, Cathleen Eastman, Robin Eastman, Joshua Eastman, and Jesse Eastman; several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.
She was predeceased by her Step Fathers Jed Besaw in 1953 and Leon Wright in 1974; a sister Mildred Duprey in 1937.
Services will be conducted Saturday at 11:00am at the Zirbel Funeral Home, Groton with Father Robert Egan officiating. Interment will be in Bird Cemetery, Locke, New York.
