BROTHER OF MATTOON WOMAN PASSES AWAY
Paris, Ill., Sept. 3. - Mint Blair, 58 years old, well-known Edgar county farmer, died yesterday at his home two miles northwest of Chrisman, following an illness of several years from dropsy.
Mr. Blair was born near Charleston on June 4, 1868. He Married Hattie Ogle, who survives him with two daughters, Miss Kate Blair, at home and moved back to the present home. Mrs. Elmer Ketner of Paris, and three sons, Jess at home, and Sam and Steve Blair of Paris, and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Ogle of Paris and Mrs. T. J. Buckler of Mattoon, also survive.
About eight years ago the family moved to Paris, where they lived until about a year ago, when they moved back to the present home.
The funeral services were held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the First Christian church in Paris, with burial in Edgar cemetery. (Provided by Mona Hura)
