Howard had been born in Hiawatha, Kansas, however, he spent most of his life in St. Joseph. He worked at Bug Surgeon Automotive Repair and had attended Lafayette High School in St. Joseph.
Services were held for Howard and Wanda at Stamey-Lindsey Funeral Home at 2335 Saint Joseph Ave.
Survivors include: Howard's mother, Deanna Proctor, St. Joseph, MO; four sisters, Linda L. Crippen, Karen Ellison, and Charmin Ellison, all of St. Joseph, and Rhonda Moore, Savannah, MO; a half-sister, Brenda Davis, Savannah; a half-brother, Gregory McDowell, St. Joseph; his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Proctor, Savannah; his paternal grandmother, Ruth Alexander, Elmo, MO; and numerous aunts and uncles.
Howard and Wanda were cremated and interred at the Amazonia Cemetery in Amazonia, Missouri.
