Mrs. Gladys Danforth, 47 of 112 King street, died at a local hospital Tuesday evening after a short illness. Mrs. Danforth came to Santa Cruz with her family about eight years ago. Her husband is connected with the Coast Counties Gas and Electric Company. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Edward; one daughter Eleanor Danforth, and one son, Edward Danforth Jr.; her father, Frank L Argall of San Francisco; one sister, Mrs. Lilian Ford of Tracy; six brothers, Frank Argall of San Fancisco, Charles Argall, Los Angeles; Claud Argall, Berkleley; Clarence Argall, Los Angeles; Marsden Argall, San Fancisco; and Donald Argall of San Jose.
She was a member of Idlewide chapter, No. 19 O.E.S. of Santa Cruz, and of the First M.E. church in San Jose. The body was removed to White's Mortuary where funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. under the auspices of Idlewild chapter No. 19 O.E.S. Interment will follow at the I.O.O.F cemetery.
