THOMAS J. DIRKMANN (d. 1970)
Thomas J. Dirkmann, 74, of 1326 S. 10th St., Manitowoc, died Friday morning at home. Funeral services will be at 9:30 am Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 10 am at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Very Rev. Msgr. Alfred Schneider will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Dirkmann was born Dec. 12, 1895 at Manitowoc, son of the late Thomas and Mary Herrmann Dirkmann. He married Lucille Suduske July 25, 1928 at Detroit, Mich. He was employed with the street department for the City of Manitowoc and retired in 1961.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Thomas C., of Manitowoc; and a daughter, Mrs. Jerry (Lois) Woita of Columbus, Ohio and 15 grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 pm Sunday where a wake memorial service will be at 7:30 pm.
