About nine o'clock on Saturday morning Mr. John Behee, who was stricken with paralysis on Thursday, expired. Mr. Behee was in his sixty-first year, and has been a resident of this city for upwards of forty years. He was widely known and universally respected. In former years he took an active interest in all matters pertaining to the improvement of the city. He was by occupation a carriage builder, but of late years had almost retired from business. Mr. Behee was a native of Hanover Township and was the brother of Adam Behee, of this city, and the father of George F. Behee, of Lehman, and Mrs. Mary Rex, of Mauch Chunk. The funeral will take place tomorrow at 2 o'clock p. m. from his late residence on North Main street.
