at Mittnacht Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church,
Manitowoc. The Rev. Leo J. Schmitt will officiate and burial will be in Calvary
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Felten was born Feb. 17, 1895, at East Wrightstown, Brown County, son of the
late Mathias and Mary Nies Felten. He attended St. Mary School, East Wrightstown,
and came to Manitowoc in 1922. He married Clara Hermann Oct, 16, 1917, at East
Wrightstown. She preceded him in death in 1966. He was employed at Mirro Aluminum
Co. rolling mill for 13 years. He then operated a farm on County Trunk Q, five
miles north of Manitowoc until 1962 when he retired and moved to Manitowoc. He
also worked at Manitowoc Engineering Co. for 10 years before retiring. He was an
honorary member of Machinists Local No. 516.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Doris) Holschbach of Rt. 2, Manitowoc,
and Miss Grace, at home; a brother, Peter, of Sheboygan; a sister, Mrs. John Klein,
of Milwaukee, and a granddaughter.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday where a wake service will
be at 3:30 p.m.
