William A. Fiecko Jr., 50, of 3504 Custer St., Manitowoc, died Saturday evening, March 15, at Veteran's Hospital, Wood, Wis.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Mitchell Weber will officiate and
burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc. Military graveside rites will be accorded Mr. Fiecko by Veterans of Foreign Wars Otto-Oas Post No. 659.
Mr. Fiecko was born May 27, 1929, at Sturgeon Bay, son of William V. Fiecko and the late Lucy Whippl Fiecko Sr. In 1941 he moved to Manitowoc, where he attended school and has resided since. He married Doris M. Kasbohm April 27, 1946, at Menominee, Mich. Prior to his recent illness he had been employed in the parts department of Kelvinator Commercial Products Company. He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the United States Army in the European Theatre of Operations.
Survivors include his wife, Doris M., a son, Jeffery, and two daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra and Thomas Rabideau and Cindie and Randy Hoefner of Manitowoc; his father, William V. Fiecko Sr. of Manitowoc; six grandchildren (private); a brother and sister-in-law, James and Libby Fiecko of Manitowoc; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Jean and Jack Trammel of Manitowoc, Marilyn and Dan Frosch of Two Rivers and Jane Fiecko of Manitowoc; six sisters-in-law, Mrs. Marilyn Lutz, Mrs. James (Rita) Pattison, Mrs. Harry (Bernadine) Klein, Mrs. Arthur (Mert) Komorowski, Mrs. Betty Lu Deveraux and Mrs. Marion Howell; two brothers-in-law, William and Francis Kasbohm and an uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Hodge.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home 4 o'clock to 9 o'clock this Monday afternoon, where a prayer service will be at 7:30 o'clock.
