Ralph Beckett, 81, of Kittanning RD4, died Friday, Aug. 12, 1994 at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights.
He was born Aug. 8, 1913 in Boggsville to John and Emma (Baker) Beckett.
Mr. Beckett retired from Allegheny Ludlum Steel in Brakenridge.
He was a member of the Slate Lick United Presbyterian Church, Kittanning-East Brady Masonic Lodge No. 244, New Castle Consistory, Syria Shrine, Armstrong Caravan No. 22, and Clan No. 53 of Three Rivers Grand and Glorious Order of Hillbillie Degree.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Jean Reynolds of New Castle; 13 grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; two step-daughters; a brother, Clyde Beckett of Sarver; and a sister, Mrs. Flora Atkinson of Kittanning RD4.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Betty (Booth) Beckett in 1968; his second wife, Mildred (Delp) Beckett in 1978; a son Ronald in 1969; a daughter, Martha Mansfield in 1982; a grandson Rick Beckett; four brothers, Clarence, Lee, Glenn and Willis; and three sisters, Effie Harbison, Grace Hamilton and Loey Lamison.
Friends will be received from 1 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, Worthington where services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Roy Warren officiating. Burial will take place in Lawn haven Burial Estates.
