Donald Eugene Carr, 60, of Benton, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2015.

Donald was born July 11, 1954, to Bill and Viola (Sanders) Carr in El Dorado, Kansas. Donald worked for Textron Aviation for 41 years. He was united in marriage to Kathy Sims in Augusta, Kansas. Donald enjoyed working on cars, riding 4 wheelers, spending time at the lake and boating.

His survivors include his wife Kathy of the home; children Tammy Carr of Hutchinson, Kansas, Donald Carr Jr. of Benton, Kansas; brothers, Charles Carr of Wichita, Kansas, Melvin Carr of Latham, Kansas; sisters Marylin and husband John Bush of Augusta, Kansas, Mary and husband Mark Parker of Clearwater, Kansas; grandchildren, Sophie, Terrin and Zamiyah.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents and his twin brother, Ronald Carr.

Visitation will be Monday, April 13, from 5-7 p.m. with viewing from 1-7 p.m. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 14, at 10:00 a.m. both at the Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta with interment to follow at the Elmwood Cemetery.

Memorials have been established with the American Lung Association in care of the funeral home.
