William Franklin Alexander was born April 10, 1887 in Republic Co., Kansas, and died December 2, 1912 in Lovewell, Kansas, at the age of 25 years, 7 months, 22 days. He leaves a wife, his mother, a sister, Mrs. Geo. Harkness, a brother, Art Alexander, to mourn the loss of a kind and faithful husband, brother and son.

Frank was the youngest son of Mrs. W.H. Alexander of this place and is well known in Belleville having grown to manhood here. He was married to Miss Dora Dogas of Concordia the 10th day of June, 1912.

Mr. Alexander had just recovered from several weeks illness of typhoid fever and with his wife was visiting her parents in Lovewell where he died suddenly Monday morning of heart failure. The funeral was held from his mother's home at 2:00 o'clock this afternoon (Wednesday). Rev. C.M. Benight of the Baptist church conducted the services. The interment was made in the Belleville cemetery.
