ALVIN M. GALLENBERGER

Alvin M. Gallenberger, 67, of 3516 Marshall St., Manitowoc, died unexpectedly Monday morning.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Schneide Mittnacht Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
The Rev. Joseph Mattern will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mr. Gallenberger was born April 22, 1908, at Kewaunee, soon of the late Joseph and Pauline Frech Gallenberger. He attended elementary and high schools at Menominee, Mich., and Orchard Lake College, Orchard Lake, Mich. He was employed at Manitowoc Pattern Mfg. Co., retiring in 1971.

He married Stella Bobula Nov. 3, 1945 at Chicago. The couple made its home at Chicago and moved to
Manitowoc in 1947. He served with the U.S. Air Force in England in World War II, receiving the bronze star accommodation medal and was a member of St. Mary Parish, Manitowoc.

Survivors include his wife, Stella, of Manitowoc; three brothers, Joseph, of Milwaukee, M.B. of Manitowoc and Michael of New Jersey; a sister, Mrs. Leo (Viola) Bastian of Winchester, Ind., and nieces and nephews. A sister, Barbara Multerer and a brother, Ralph, preceded him in death.

Friends may call at Schneider-Mittnacht Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. Tuesday. A prayer service will be held at 8 p.m.
