DEATH ENDS LONG ILLNESS OF EDW. GREEN
Edward Green, 56, well known resident of this city, passed away Wednesday
after a lingering illness of several years. The deceased, who has made this
city his home ever since his birth, August 5, 1845, was employed for a
number of years by the Burger Boat company.
His widow and seven children, three daughters and four sons, survive. They
are: Mrs. Gred Goestal, Mrs. Rueben Schmitt, Mrs. R.A. Fanslau, and Richard,
Donald, Milton and Alfred. All are residents of this city. The Misses Ruby
and Ida Green, sisters, Walter and William Green, brothers, and Mrs. Theresa
Green, mother of the deceased, also survive.
The funeral will be held from the late home, 1617 South Tenth street, with
services at the St. Boniface church, Saturday morning. Burial will take place
at the Calvary cemetery.
