Richard “Ricky” Lynn McDowell, 59, of Marmaduke, Arkansas, passed from this life on Sunday April 12, 2015, at his residence.
He was born on November 13, 1955, in Gideon, Missouri, to the late Gerald and Geraldine (Rutledge) McDowell.
Ricky enjoyed spending time with his grand-children at the farm. He was a member of the Ramer’s Chapel United Methodist Church, where he served as chairman of the cemetery board, worked 37 years for LA Darling Store Fixtures in Paragould, and served as Scout Master for Boy Scout Troop 30 in Marmaduke.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother: Phil McDowell
Ricky is survived by his loving wife: Becky (Smith) McDowell of the home; two sons: Shannon and Wendy McDowell of Paragould, Shawn and Katy McDowell of Paragould; one brother: Tony and Vicki McDowell of Marmaduke; two grand-children: Lucy and John Richard “Jack” McDowell; one sister-in-law and husband: Lisa and Marc Siebert of Lafe; nephew: Nick and Connie McDowell of Marmaduke, and niece: Tonya and Dale Drope of Marmaduke.
Funeral Services were at the Irby Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Ramer’s Chapel Cemetery in Marmaduke.
