Hartsville-Rupert Marshall Henderson, 93, died Feb. 22, 2001.
A native of Spartanburg County, he was the widower of Gertrude Sexton Henderson and son of the late Henry Grady and Corrie Esther Williams Henderson. He was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church, Mem’s Bible Class, XYZ Club and PALS. He was retired from Coker’s Department Store and was a World War II Air Force veteran.
Survivors include one brother, Wallace B. Henderson of Boiling Springs; and nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Brown-Penington-Atkins Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Luke United Methodist Church, conducted by the Revs. Ben and Dora Gafford. Burial will be at 3 p.m. in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
Memorials may be made to PALS, c/o St. Luke United Methodist Church, 302 Dunlap Drive, Hartsville.
