Macie Mavis Cline-Adams, 97, of Lynco, WV, went home to our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. She was a lifelong resident of Wyoming County.

She was born on July 19, 1917, in Long Branch, WV, a daughter of the late Leander Jackson Cline (1880-1956) and Syotha "Sis" Hurley-Cline (1900-1959). In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband B.C. "Bud" Adams (1902-Deceased) whom she married on December 6, 1941 in Kistler, Logan County, WV (per WV Marriage License Register, Logan County, WV, 1941, Page 98, Application Date: December 1, 1941), twelve brothers Flemming Kennedy (1894-Deceased), Emory Kennedy (1896-Deceased), Noah Cline (1907-Deceased), Verlin F. Cline (1909-1977), Virgil Cline (Deceased), Verner G. Cline (1914-1965), Omar Cline (1925-Deceased), Jack Cline (1929-1973), Leland Cline (Deceased), Nathan Cline (Deceased), Franklin Cline (Deceased), and David Cline (Deceased); seven sisters Margaret "Marge" Kennedy-Trent (1893-Deceased), Alafair Cline (1903-Deceased), Eliza "Liza" Pearl Cline-Lambert (1922-1978), Louisa "Louise" Cline-Profitt (1932-1986), Eula Mae Cline (Deceased), Mable Blankenship (Deceased) and Polly Cline (Deceased).

Those left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Darrell Adams & Mary Adams and Jack Adams & wife Evelyn Adams; nine grandchildren Becky Grimmett & husband Toby Grimmett, Wendy Adams, Manja Gills & husband Jonathan Gills, Kirk Adams & wife Dixie Adams, Missy Bishop & husband Gary) Bishop, Chris Adams & wife Melissa Adams, Dora Broomfield & husband Andrew Broomfield, Kevin Harrison & wife Kim Harrison and Kathy Cook & husband Algie Cook; sixteen great grandchildren and one on the way; a special caregiver Kay Bower and a host of loving family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, April 13, 2015 in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV, with Br. William Lafferty, Br. Algie Cook and Bro. Homer Cline officiating. She will be laid to rest in Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny, WV.
