He was born Jan. 9, 1950, in Elwood, and lived most of his life in Anderson.
Larry was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He retired from Guide Lamp in 2003 after 30 years. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Anderson and Alexandria, and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 266.
Larry is survived by his wife, Dixie (Smith) Friggle; children, Larry Allen Friggle of Indianapolis and Garrison Scott Friggle of Milford; stepchildren, Steven Evans of Anderson, Michael Reece of Wheaton, Ill., Gregg Reece of Fishers and Shari Lacy of California; grandchildren, Donnie Lee and Gavin Scott Friggle; several siblings, Josephine, Robert, Jackie, Thelma, Windell, Doris, Jim, Alvie, Melvin, Claude, Gary, Everette, Jenny, Jack, Bud, Ralph, Jr., June, and JoAnn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis “Slim” and Crystal Friggle and Ralph and Gladys Jackson.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory. Burial will be at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery with military honors by VFW Post 266 Honor Guard.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
