Mrs. Della Herman, 87, on 1008 Manitou St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday night at family Heritage Home, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday a Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic church, Manitowoc. The Rev. John Hephner will officiate with burial in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mrs. Herman, nee Della Coady, was born Aug. 12, 1889, at Cobb, Wis., daughter of the late Michael and Johanna Egan Coady. She resided with her family at Mineral Point, graduating from Mineral Point High School and Platteville Normal School. She taught school at Florence, Dodgeville and Manitowoc, Wis. She was married to Oscar Herman Aug. 12, 1924, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc.

Mrs. Herman was a charter member of Catholic Women’s Club and Knights of Columbus Auxiliary, and a member of Eagles Auxiliary, St. Ann Christian Mothers Altar Society, Manitowoc Homemakers, Manitowoc Senior Citizens, Easter Seal Assn, National Teachers Society and A.A.R.P. She was also a member and past president of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Mr. Herman preceded her in death June 19, 1955.
Survivors include a brother, Ambrose Coady, of Mineral Point and nieces and nephews. Five brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.

Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday, where memorial services will be at 7 p.m. by members of Catholic Women’s Club, Knights of Columbus Auxiliary, St. Ann Christian Mothers Altar Society, relatives and friends.
