Edwin Hodzinski, 43, of 924 S. 22nd St., Manitowoc, died Wednesday morning at Theda Clark Hospital, Neenah, following a short illness.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Friday at Leschke-Bergner Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. John Landowski will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Hodzinski was born Jun 20, 1915, at Manitowoc, son of Walter and Mary Kortas Hodzinski. He attended St. Mary Parochial School and also Lincoln High School. Mr. Hodzinski married the former Florence Wisniewski May 26, 1944, at Tallahassee, Fla. He was a mail carrier for 18 years and was secretary of the Mail Carriers Union. Mr. Hodzinski was an Air Force veteran of World War II and was a member of Manitowoc Eagle Aerie 706.
Surviving are the wife, parents, two daughters, at home (names omitted for privacy); three brothers, Victor of Milwaukee, Chester of Delafield and John of Sheboygan; and a sister, Mrs. Richard Hein of Manitowoc.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.
