EDMUND HOLSCHBACH
Edmund J. Holschbach, 81, of 1114A No. 10th St., Manitowoc, died at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where he had been a patient since Feb. 9.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
The Rev. E.A. Radey will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Mr. Holschbach was born May 10, 1886, in the Town of Kossuth, son of the late Alois and Katherine Weisner Holschbach. He married Theresa Helfert in 1919. She died in 1933. In 1935, he married Mrs. Anna Helwich at Manitowoc. He owned and operated a cheese factory in the Town of Kossuth until coming to Manitowoc in 1942, where he was employed by Imperial Eastman Corp., Eastman Division, 15 years. He retired in 1957.
Mr. Holschbach was a member of Holy Name Society of Holy Innocents Church and Senior Citizens Club.
Surviving are his wife, a son, a daughter (Survivors omitted for privacy.); two brothers, Peter and Robert, and two sisters, Mrs. Theresa Mohr and Mrs. Herbert Heinzen, of Manitowoc. and three grandchildren. Four brothers and five sisters preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Thursday where the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. by members of the Holy Name Society, parish and friends.
