Doris was born on Sept. 10, 1919, in De Pere. She was the daughter of the late Jacob and Clara (Herrmann) Felten. On Aug. 21, 1945, she married Thomas Holschbach in Manitowoc.
Doris was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband: Thomas, of 63 years; one daughter: Claran LaViolette, Manitowoc; one sister: Grace Felten, Manitowoc; one granddaughter: Chandra (Rob) Susedik; two great-grandchildren: Ella and Aiden; along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son-in-law: Lawrence LaViolette, on Nov. 7, 2006.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 31, 2008, at St. Mary's Home Chapel. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Daniel Schuster, with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Relatives and friends may call at St. Mary's Home Chapel, 2005 Division St., Manitowoc, on Friday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.
The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory, N. 11th and St. Clair streets, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
The family would like to express their appreciation for the care and support given to Doris and her family during the past six years while she resided there. Also a special thank you to Lynn Paulson, RN, at St. Mary's Home.
