Mary Ludmilla Holschbach, 84, of 1043 Menahsa Avenue, Manitowoc, died Monday evening, January 25, 1988 at North Ridge Care Center, Manitowoc. Private family funeral services will be 10:30 am Friday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 11 am at Holy Innocents Catholic Church. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Leo J. Schmitt with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Holschbach, nee Mary Ludmilla Havlichek, was born November 5, 1903 in the Town of Kossuth, Manitowoc County, daughter of the late Wencil and Anna Stradal Havlichek. She married Robert J. Holschbach on October 14, 1924 at St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek. The couple moved to Manitowoc after their marriage, residing here since. He preceded her in death September 13, 1970. Mrs. Holschbach was a member of Holy Innocents Parish and a member of the Christian Mothers of the Parish.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Eugene and Bernadine Holschbach of Manitowoc; two daughters, Marion Hermann of Green Bay and Shirley Gadzinski of Manitowoc; 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Charlotte Zupan.
There will be no Thursday evening visitation at the funeral home.
