MARY F. HOLSCHBACH (d. 1978)

Mrs. Mary F. Holschbach, 79, of 1701 Marshall St., Manitowoc, died late Saturday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 11 a.m. in St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Theodore J. Hendricks will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Holschbach, nee Mary Frances Svatek, was born June 2, 1898 in Reedsville, daughter of the late Emil and Agnes Vondrachek Svatek. She was married April 12, 1921 in St. Mary Catholic church, Reedsville. The couple farmed in the Town of Manitowoc Rapids until 1961, moving to Manitowoc. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1971. Mr. Holschbach preceded her in death December 8, 1977. She was a charter member of the Holy Innocents Christian Mothers Altar Society and a member of St. Boniface St. Ann Society.
Survivors include three sons, Andrew of rural Two Rivers, Norbert of Cudahy and Ronald of rural Manitowoc; seven daughters, Mrs. Laurence (Beatrice) Drida of Manitowoc, Mrs. Floyd (Marion) Zeman of rural Cato, Mrs. Bernard (Carol) Kleiber of rural Plymouth, Mrs. Clement (Joan) Krueger of Barrie, Ontario, Canada, Mrs. Charles (Marcella) Duellman of South Milwaukee, Mrs. Edgar (Elaine) Juedes of rural Maribel and Mrs. John (Patricia) Becker of rural Mishicot; two brothers, Adolph and Edward Svatek of Reedsville; two sisters, Mrs. Rose Meyer of Manitowoc and Mrs. William DeCramer of Kewaunee; 73 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. A daughter, Mrs. Joe (Elizabeth) Korinek and two brothers, the Rev. Frank Svatek and Wencil Svatek and a sister, Mrs. Barbara Holschbach preceded her in death. Another brother, Emil Svatek died Sunday, January 15.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday where a prayer service will be at 8 p.m.
