Arthur W. Holtz Sr., 81, of 1416 S. 10th St., Manitowoc, died Sunday afternoon at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where he had been a patient four days.
Fuenral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
The Very Rev. Msgr. Alfred Schneider will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Mr. Holtz was born Dec. 20, 1885, in the Town of Two Rivers, son of the late John and Fredricka Pautz Holtz. He married Clara Zipperer May 14, 1917, at St. Michael Catholic Church, Whitelaw. The couple farmed in Manitowoc County until moving to Manitowoc a year ago. They celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary in 1962.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Arthur Jr., of Manitowoc and Leonard, of Two Rivers; two daughters, Mrs. Cletus Oswald, of Manitowoc and Mrs. John Koslowski, of Brookfield; a sister, Mrs. Hattie Hanson, of Manitowoc; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Four brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Tuesday where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. by the parish.
