Miss Rose Hopf, 78, of 1130 S. Lake St., lifelong resident of Manitowoc, died Thursday morning at the Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 10 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Alfred Pritzl will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
She was born in Manitowoc Oct. 19, 1877, daughter of the late John Hopf. Until her retirement she filled clerk positions in Manitowoc stores. She was a member of the Christian Mothers of St. Boniface congregation.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Albert Schuetze of Manitowoc and Mrs. Alois Lang of Grand Rapids, Mich.; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday where the Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Friday.
