MATHILDA HORN

Mrs. Mathilda Horn, 3001 Meadow Lane, died early this morning at the Holy Family hospital where she was taken yesterday afternoon following a heart attack suffered at her home. She was 74.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 8:30 a.m. from the Pfeffer Funeral home and at 9 o’clock at St. Paul’s Catholic church, the Rev. Martin Jaeckels officiating. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery.

Mrs. Horn had done all her own housework from a wheelchair for the last several years, since she as invalided by leg amputations.

Mrs. Horn was born Mathilda Lorenz on November 12, 1865, at West Bend. She was married in 1899 to Charles Horn and the couple moved to Manitowoc 22 years ago.

Survivors are the widower, two daughters, Mrs. Elden Herbst of Chicago and Mrs. Roy Monday of this city; eight grandchildren; two brothers; Frank Lorenz of Oakland, Calif. and Henry Lorenz of West Bend.

The Christian Mothers of St. Paul’s church will recite the rosary at the funeral home Friday at 7 p.m.
