MRS. J. HOYER DIES AT HOME THIS MORNING
Ill only a few days, Mrs. John Hoyer, wife of the custodian of the county building, passed away at the family home on the Calumet road at 2:15 this morning, news of her demsie coming as a shock to a wide circle of friends. Mrs. Hoyer had been in her usual health up to Friday when she attended a social gathering and while on her way home suffered an attack that developed abdominal disorders that failed to yield to treatment and death came this morning.
Born in Bavaria, Germany, on June 6, 1861, Mrs. Hoyer was 68 years of age at the time of her death. She came to this country as a child, residing with her parents at Marshfield for several years and moving to Manitowoc about 50 years ago. She married John Hoyer in March, 1884 and in addition to her hsuband she is survived by two daughters, Aurora at Milwaukee and Mrs. Ed. Specht, Manitowoc; four sons, Joseph and Clarence at Manitowoc and Elmer and Walter of Detroit, three sisters, Mrs. Harvey Fink and Mrs. Frank Kaholka at Marshfield and Mrs. Mary Ackerman at Milwuakee as well as by four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held fromt he St. Boniface church Friday morning at 9 o'clock, Father Kersten officiating. Interment will take place at Calvary.
