Olga was born July 28, 1909 at Valders, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Albert and Winnefred Hanson Halderson. On August 9, 1937 she married Clarence (Bamby) Hoyer at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Olga was employed with Mirro Aluminum Co., S.S. Kressge Co., and Spahn's Bakery for many years. Her hobbies included caning chairs. Olga was a life member of the Manitowoc County Kennel club and a former member of the St. Ann Society of St. Boniface Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Clarence (Bamby) Hoyer, Manitowoc; a son and daughter-in-law, Gale and Nancy Hoyer, Phillips, Wisconsin; two grandsons, Eric (Sue) Hoyer, Pontiac, Michigan and Gregg (Dawn) Hoyer, Seattle, Washington; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Howard and Shirley Halderson, Manitowoc and Arthur and Jeanette Halderson, Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. Olga is also survived by nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
The family will greet family and friends Wednesday evening at the Pfeffer Funeral Home from 5 pm until 8 pm where a prayer service will be held at 7 pm led by Sr. Renee Delvaux.
