Angeline Hoffman, age 83, a resident of Whitetail Estates, Manitowoc, died Monday, Dec. 8, 2003, at her residence. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 11, 2003, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial was the Rev. Camillus Janas O.F.M. with entombment at Calvary Mausoleum, Manitowoc. She was born April 26, 1920, in Green Bay, daughter of the late Joseph and Julia Woznick Brotski. On June 1, 1938, she married John J. Hoffman at St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek. He preceded her in death on March 2, 1995. She was employed for many years at Foley Company in Manitowoc. Angeline was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and the Manitowoc Senior Center. Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law: Elaine and Gerald Brefczynski, Manitowoc; Janice and Gary Brunig, Two Rivers; Sue Wergin and special friend, Jim Coulson, Manitowoc; one son: Daniel Hoffman and his fiancee, Amy VanVuren, Green Bay; six grandchildren: Keith and Lily Brefczynski, California; Lisa (Scott) Stechmesser, Two Rivers; Gina (Kris) Wondrash, Two Rivers; Stephanie Wergin, Stacey Wergin, both of Manitowoc; Nicole Hoffman, Green Bay; two great-grandchildren: Griffin Stechmesser and Ethan Wondrash; and a sister-in-law: Bertha Brotski, Manitowoc. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, one sister, one great-grandchild and numerous sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. The Pfeffer Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc, assisted the family with funeral arrangements. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Whitetail Estates for the care and understanding they extended to their mother.
