Kenneth L. Eckert, 92, of 539 Enfield Center Road Ithaca, died Tuesday April 14, 2015 at the Crown Nursing Home.
He was born August 31, 1922 in Danby, NY.
He worked as an Auto Mechanic at Clevelands Service Station for ten years. He then tested milk for Department of Dairy Improvement for several Years. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the Army
Survivors include his wife of 55 years.....; his step-daughter.....; a son..... and daughter-in-law .....; and several grandchildren, great grandchidren and great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
A private Graveside service with full military honors will be held at the Enfield Center Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either Enfield Fire Dept. or SPCA. Bangs Funeral Home will be assisting the family.
