Antonette ""Toni"" Kautzer, age 89, of 1418 Madison St., Manitowoc, died Saturday evening, Jan. 21, 2006, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.

Toni was born June 1, 1916, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Jacob Rogala and Frances Witczak Rogala. On Nov. 27, 1937, she married Melvin Kautzer at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on July 1, 1987. Toni was employed at the former Mirro Aluminum Co. from 1961 until her retirement in 1982. She was a member of the Christian Women of St. Boniface, and a 22-year volunteer at the Manitowoc Senior Center and Meals on Wheels. Toni was also a member of the St. Vincent DePaul Society.

Survivors include three sons and one daughter-in-law: Norman Kautzer of Manitowoc; Thomas Kautzer of Hilbert; John and Kathy Kautzer of Manitowoc; two daughters and sons-in-law: Rita and Philip Tallmadge of North Myrtle Beach, S.C.; Ann and Mike Riederer of Manitowoc; six grandchildren: Karen Tallmadge of Charlotte, N.C.; Linda (Philippe) Bureau of North Myrtle Beach, S.C.; Vincent Tallmadge of Charlotte, N.C.; Dr. Susan (Mike) Carr of Seattle; Robin (Jeff) Merten and Tina Kautzer, all of Oshkosh; six great-grandchildren: Madeline and Charlotte Bureau, Steven Tallmadge, William Carr, Joshua Merten, Nathan Kautzer; two brothers: Harry Rogala of Two Rivers; Stan Rogala of Manitowoc; two sisters and one brother-in-law: Jeanette and Ed Oswald of Manitowoc; Gertie O'Leary of Reedsville; and one sister-in-law: Lucille Kautzer of Manitowoc.

She was preceded in death by an infant daughter: MaryAnn; one son-in-law: Bill Kohls; one brother and sister-in-law: Joe and Jeanette Rogala; one sister: Eleanor Rogala; and two sisters-in-law: Coletta Rogala and Angie Rogala.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2006, at 12:30 p.m. at the Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 1 p.m. at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand Avenue, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Dan Felton with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
