ANNA KLEIN HOPF (d. 1988)

Anna M. Hopf, 101, a Manitowoc resident, died Thursday, March 17, 1988 at Shady Lane Home, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 9:30 am Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral home and 10 am at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Gerald Prusakowski O.F.M. will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Hopf, nee Anna Mary Zankle was born December 28, 1886 in the Town of Franklin, Manitowoc County, daughter of the late George and Theresa Zeman Zankle. She was married to Otto Klein, January 7, 1908 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death December 22, 1941. She then married Charles Hopf, February 15, 1947 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Milwaukee. He preceded her in death September 8, 1969. Mrs. Hopf was a charter member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and an honorary member of St. Anne’s Christian Mothers Altar Society of the church.
Survivors include two daughters-in-law, Aurella Klein and Ella Klein, both of Manitowoc; 8 grandchildren, Ralph, Daniel, Thomas, James, Peter, Joseph, Cathlyn and Rosalle; 26 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Otto and Ralph; two granddaughters, Patricia and Ann Louise and a great great granddaughter, Patricia.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 4 pm to 6 pm this Friday, where a prayer service will be 6 pm by Father Jerry.

Couple Takes Marriage Vows at Sacred Heart Church at 6:30
An early morning wedding took place at the Sacred Heart Catholic church today, Miss Anna Zankle and Otto Klein being united in wedlock by Rev. O'Leary at 6:30. Only immediate relatives comprised the wedding party which partook of a wedding breakfast after the ceremony at the home of the groom's parents. The groom is employed as a cutter at the Glove factory plant. The couple will make their home in the city and will go right to housekeeping.
