A Vancouver resident since 1941, Parley L. Zesiger , 82, died at a care center in Portland Saturday, Sept. 10, 1994. He was born March 2, 1912, in Tremonton, Utah.

Mr. Zesiger had been a barber for Evergreen and Broadway barber shops. He was a past president of the local barber's union, a life member of Elks Lodge No. 823, and for many years he had coached an Alcoa Little League team.

Mr. Zesiger is survived by his wife, Velma, at home; a son, John A. of Battle Ground; a daughter, Shirley J. Morris of Vancouver; one sister, Jennie Croy of Gresham; and two grandchildren.

A funeral service will begin at 3 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel, followed by burial in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
