She was baptized by Rev. Willima Pulcifer at New Horton in 1845. Mrs. Wells was the mother of Asael WELLS, formerly sheriff of Albert, Prof. James WELLS, formerly of the Baptist college at Woodstock and at present editor of the 'Canadian Baptist' and John N. WELLS, now of Moncton, also several daughters. She was a native of Cornwallis, N.S.
