Henry D. Knautz, 73, of 3507 Meadow Lane, Manitowoc, died Friday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 11 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Duane Dionne will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the American Legion.
Mr. Knautz was born Dec. 11, 1899, at Kenosha, son of the late Gustave and Augusta Knautz.
He married Helen Reinert Oct. 5, 1918, at Manitowoc. She preceded him in death June 14, 1967.
Mr. Knautz was employed at Manitowoc Shipbuilding Inc., retiring in 1964. He was a veteran of World War I. He was a member of American Legion Drews-Bleser Post No. 88 and 25 year member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 706, of Manitowoc.
