John T. Komosa, 55, of 2314A Marshall St., Manitowoc, died Monday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where he had been a patient since Saturday.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rt. Rev. Msg. John S. Landowski will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
John Komosa was born May 1, 1913, at Brighton, Pa., son of the late Peter and Rose Rudzienski Komosa. He moved to Manitowoc as a child with his parents and was a charter member of the St. Mary Young Men's club.
He married Virginia Franz July 24, 1935, at Manitowoc. For the past three years he had been employed at Manitowoc Products Co. Prior to that, Mr. and Mrs. Komosa operated Saenger Hall at Manitowoc for 13 years.
Survivors include his wife, two brothers, Theodore and Francis of Manitowoc; and three sisters, Mrs. Emil Pautz of Lancaster, Pa., Mrs. Clifford Briggs of Kenosha and Mrs. Isadore Hartlaub of Manitowoc. A half-brother preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Wednesday where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. by friends and members of the parish.
