Fred W. Krohn, 91 of 2222 S. 10th St., Manitowoc, died Saturday morning, January 14, 1989 at North Ridge Care Center.
Mr. Krohn was born December 12, 1897, at Manitowoc, son of the late Fred and Emma Vogt Krohn. He was a lifelong Manitowoc resident and attended Manitowoc Schools.
He married Cecilia Elizabeth Kirchen, November 4, 1933, at St. Boniface Rectory at Manitowoc. Mr. Krohn was employed with Manitowoc Shipbuilding Company for many years
and as a Carpenter until retirement in 1963. He was a 65 year member of United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Jointers Union of America. Survivors include his wife, a son, a sister, four grandchildren, a great granddaughter, nieces; nephews; other
relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a brother, Edmund. Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. this Monday.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home. Rev. Arno Wolfgramm will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
