Mrs. Herman Kugler, 80, who has been residing with her daughter, Mrs. George Jagemann of 1037 North 14th street, Manitowoc, died Thursday night at the Holy Family hospital, following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Monday at the Pfeffer funeral home, Manitowoc, and at 9 o’clock at the St. Andres Catholic church.
The Rev. E. A. Radey of Holy Innocents church will officiate and burial will be in Calvary cemetery, Manitowoc.
She was born Katherine Simmer in Manitowoc Rapids in 1871, and in 1891 was married to Mr. Kugler. They made their home in Manitowoc. Her husband died in 1930 and the past 17 years she resided with her daughter. She was a member of the Altar society of Holy Innocents church.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Jagemann, six grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Sunday where the rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday.
