Frank A. Kuhnle, Sr., 79, of 943 N. Ninth St., Manitowoc, died Wednesday evening at the home of his daughter, Mrs. George Maresch, 907 Pine St., following a heart attack.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Donald Schneider will officiate and burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
He was born June 18, 1890, in Manitowoc, son of the late John and Katherine Herrman Kubale. He married the former Mary T. Radl of Manitowoc in 1902 and the couple celebrated its golden wedding anniversary in 1967. Prior to his retirement five years ago he was employed as a machinist at the Manitowoc Engineering Co. for 15 years and before that at Mirro Co., Manitowoc, for 22 years. He was a member of the Manitowoc Machinists Local No. 516.
Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Maresch of Manitowoc and Mrs. Merrill Hopkins of Green Bay; two sons, Frank E. Jr. of Manitowoc and Harold W. Oshkosh and a granddaughter. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home where the Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Due to Saturday being a Holy Day of Obligation the funeral mass will be said Saturday Aug. 22.
