ADAMS, Arthur Q. Age 95 of Vandalia, passed away Monday August 31, 2015 at Stonespring of Vandalia. He was a WWII U.S. Army veteran and was a retired employee of NCR. Arthur was active in various Veterans clubs in the Dayton area. He was preceded in death by his wife Bessie L. Adams; daughter-in-law Jeanette Adams; one sister and one brother. Arthur is survived by 3 sons Sonny & wife Donna Adams of Vandalia, Mike Adams of Miamisburg, and Paul & wife Carol Adams of Vandalia; 4 sisters Virginia Moyer, Eileen Hollis, Gladys Klotz, and Joan Denman; 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Graveside services for family and friends will be held Wednesday September 2 at 1:30pm at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia on Wednesday from 12:00 to 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the U.S.O. in Arthur's memory.
