Her youngest child, Naomi, was 4 years old in the 1880 census. Sarah's husband married again to Fannie Smith April 23, 1877 in Burke Co., NC. In 1900 William Riley and Fannie Chapman were living in Lincolnton, Lincoln Co., NC with six children: Essie, Junius S., Marion C., Jasper S., Amanda J., and Franklin A. Chapman. The place of Sarah Elminer's burial is unknown.
