Obituary for Mr. Mark A. Clemmons
Mark A. Clemmons, age 51, of Channahon, passed away peacefully after a battle with cancer, Sunday, April 12th, 2015, at St. James Hospital with his wife, Donna by his side.
He was born in Chicago, lived in several locations before settling in Channahon. Mark was an avid fan of all the Chicago sports teams. He enjoyed golfing and was particularly proud of his hole in one. His favorite hobbies were being a cheerleader for his children’s sports teams, spending time with his family and playing Black Jack. Mark graduated from St. Rita High School in Chicago and was employed by Real Deal Desserts in Naperville.
Preceded in death by his Father Ralph and sister-in-law Susan Clemmons.
Survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Donna nee Kotermanski.
His children, Ashley and Son Nicholas, also survived by his Mother Barbara, Siblings Karen (Gary) Ulman, Ralph (Jeannine) Clemmons and Deborah (Jim) Weaver. Dearest Uncle of numerous nieces and nephews. Per his family’s wishes, cremation rites were accorded. In lieu of flowers, donations made out to Caryn or Craig Bridges to help defer the cost of medication for their daughter Faith. Faith and Uncle Mark had a special bond. Family will greet relatives and friends on Sunday, April 26th at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 8404 S. Cass Ave., Darien, Il. 3:30 pm until time of Memorial Mass at 4:00 pm
Interment was private.
