YORKTOWN — Robert V. "Bob" Ackley Jr., 62, died Wednesday, July 6, 2005. Robert was a native of Dayton, Ohio and moved to Virginia in the 1970's to pursue a career as an Aerospace Model Technician. He retired from Eagle Aviation in 2004 to enjoy his hobby as a gunsmith.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert V. Ackley Sr. He is survived by his wife, Luisita Ackley; his sons, James Ackley, Jason Ackley and Craig Ackley; his mother, Lenora Ackley; his grandson, Jesse; and his granddaughter, Caitlyn.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, July 9, at Amory Funeral Home with the Rev. David Hampton officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
