Roberta Marie Meeks, 91, of Normal, formerly of Lane, died at 8:04 p.m. Thursday (April 16, 2015) at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.
Roberta was born Sept. 4, 1923 in Lane, the daughter of Minor and Ina Brennan Bennett. She married Ovilee Meeks in 1941.
Survivors include her children, Judy Mahle, Joe (Karen) Meeks and Bob (Kathy) Meeks; sister, Delores Lowrey; six grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Roberta was member of the Lane Christian Church. She had worked at Revere Copper & Brass in Clinton and retired from GE in Bloomington.
