Ploor, Gerald "Jerry"

Gerald "Jerry" Ploor, age 74, of Two Rivers, passed away peacefully early Saturday morning, April 18, 2015 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc, after complications from surgery.

Jerry was born November 8, 1940 in Sturgeon Bay, son of the late Bub and Lorraine (Paque) Ploor. He married his high school sweetheart, Suzanne Stegmann, on July 11, 1959 in Sturgeon Bay. They then moved to Two Rivers where he worked at Hamiltons for over 40 years. Jerry then worked for Assist-to-Transport for another 12 years. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, cooking, and playing cribbage and cards with friends. Jerry loved his family dearly and enjoyed time spent together.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Suzie, Two Rivers; five daughters: Cindy Brennan, Sturgeon Bay; Sherry (Morgan) Taddy, Two Rivers; Christie Ploor, Green Bay; Debbie (Glenn) Thomas, Sturgeon Bay; and Laurie (Roger) Wilke, Manitowoc; grandchildren: Heather and Adam Eslinger, Adie and Aaron Neuser, Jaimie (Carlos) Escobar, Jeremy and Tyler Goral, Matt and Bryce Thomas; one step granddaughter: Victoria Wilke; three great grandchildren: Jordan Goral, C.J. and Benji Escobar; one sister and brother-in-law: Kathy & Rick Robillard, Virginia Beach, VA; one sister-in-law: Kuvie Ploor, Milwaukee; two special aunts: Eileen Paque and Alice Kanzanbach; and a special niece Joey Farmery. Other relatives and friends also survive.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, one brother John, one nephew Scott Robillard, his mother-in-law and father-in-law and an infant grandson Alec Neuser.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at the Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers. Burial will take place at a later date.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
