Born in Kewanee, Ill., on Oct. 3, 1936, he later came to Auburndale. He was a retired security officer for Pro Security and had retired from Coca-Cola Foods in Auburndale after more than 23 years. He was an Air Force veteran. He was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church in Auburndale.
Mr. Husted is survived by his wife, Glenda Faye Husted; mother, Helen Husted, Norman, Okla.; daughter, Charlene Keck, Richland, Wash.; sons, Richard Spiker, Haines City, Anthony Ezell, Polk City, Fred Martin, Collingdale, Pa.; sister, Lois Edwards, Norman, Okla.; brothers, Bill Husted, Las Vegas, Loran Husted, Olympia, Wash.; five grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home, 2198 K-Ville Ave., Auburndale. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel.
